We loved walking up to the monument and being in this location that is significant to our family. It is a very beautiful area. Some trails are more rugged than others, so make sure you have appropriate shoes. There is also a great visitors center with information about the hill and the area.

Historical sight with sacred significance concerning the coming forth of the Book of Mormon. Beautiful hike and wonderful visitors center

This was a wonderful experience! There was a lot to do and interact with inside the visitor's center. The hike up to the monument on the hill was short and not too hard, even for our young kids.

Amazing experience. You can do as much or as little as you want. Cleanest bathrooms you will find. Want to know more about everything and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints then you need to ask the missionaries and they will guide and help you.

The experience here is sweet and has been simplified over the years. They have taken down the pageant stage and are returning the grounds back to what it would have been like in the 1800s. They've begun a reforestation project to plant hundreds of trees back on the hill where trees were cleared over a hundred years ago and have remained cleared for pageant purposes. The paved path to the monument has been removed and replaced by a compacted gravel path. Several natural paths wind up the north side to the monument, making the experience more genuine and simple. The visitor's center is beautiful and informative. Plan at least an hour for the tour and a walk up to the monument.

Great missionaries there. We took the nature trail on the back side. It is amazingly beautiful. The monument is pretty. Enjoyed the visitor center best. Excellent exhibits. Missionaries spend lots of time with you if you like or let you go around. If you can take the mature walk up . the paved oath is not as pretty. If you cannot walk up a steep hill then take your car and drive up around.

I’ve been several times to the Hill Cumorah. We had a great little hike up to the monument. The hill is getting taken back to its original setting with nice walkways and trees and vegetation.
